The John
Storm Franchise, is a series of original "climate and
ocean" awareness stories being developed as graphic
novel and
screenplay adaptations. This is the 5th iteration of the
Vampire theme, with romantic horror overtones, as a distinguished
Carpathian scientist sets out to discover why ancient Egyptians believed
in life after death. The
original Count Dracula was created by the Irish
writer Bram
Stoker.
Cleopatra,
the ancient Egyptian Queen of the Nile, has a royal bloodline that
evolved over 10,000 years, to cope with and ward off a plague of
Vampires that infiltrated her desert culture, thousands of years before
she was born. The Pharaohs searched for a way to kill the night
prowlers, other than silver knives and wooden stakes through their
hearts.
The "High Priest's Cure" as an early form of genetic engineering or a forced evolutionary bottleneck. This is the intersection of epigenetics, viral immunity, and evolutionary biology.
Cleopatra
died in 31BC, famously poisoning herself with an Asp.
The New World Knights
(now Novus Illuminatum) obtained her DNA and reincarnated
her, as a project to prove their capabilities, and to fulfill a
contract, for their funding.
The
scientists accidentally discover that her blood has remarkable
qualities, and that leads to the cure Armand Arclaud is hoping for, by
also contributing to funding such research.
Where
a person might be infected, if bitten by a vampire, if the Nile Queen
were to bite you, the reverse is true, a person bitten by Cleopatra
would be cured of vampirism.
THE "HEREDITARY ANTIVIRAL RESPONSE" THEORY
1. The Mechanism of the "Vampire Infection"
To make the resistance credible, we first define the "curse" as a Retroviral Hemopathy (RVH). This
(fictional) virus would work similarly to Rabies or HIV, rewriting the host's DNA to cause the physiological changes associated with vampires (heightened senses, sunlight sensitivity, and a biological need for fresh hemoglobin).
2. The Priestly Intervention: "The Great Cleansing"
The high priests likely discovered a natural mutagen—perhaps a rare desert fungus or a specific chemical compound used in early
mummification rituals. This "cure" wasn't just a medicine; it was a
CRISPR-like agent that targeted the RVH virus at the genetic level.
Competitive Inhibition: The cure introduced a specific protein into the human bloodstream that blocked the "vampire virus" from binding to human cells.
Germline Mutation: Crucially, for this to reach Cleopatra centuries later, the priests ensured the treatment altered the germ cells (egg and sperm). This made the immunity hereditary, passing the protection down through generations.
3. Scientific Credibility for Cleopatra’s Resistance
By the time of Cleopatra
VII, the royal bloodline would represent the "purity" of this genetic defense. You can explain her resistance using these three concepts:
- CCR5-Δ32 Analogy: In the real world, some humans have a genetic mutation (CCR5-Δ32) that makes them naturally resistant to HIV. Your Egyptians would have a similar, localized mutation that makes their blood "toxic" or "unrecognizable" to the vampire pathogen.
- Lytic Blood Properties: Cleopatra’s blood could contain a high concentration of enzymatic biocides. When a vampire bites her, instead of the infection spreading, her blood acts like a "poison pill," containing enzymes that break down the vampire’s own cellular structure, effectively "starving" or "burning" the undead predator from the inside out.
- Epigenetic Memory: Her DNA could be "primed" to recognize the viral signature of a vampire bite instantly, triggering a massive, localized immune response that neutralizes the infection before it leaves the wound site.
WHY VAMPIRES WERE ERADICATED FROM EGYPT
The eradication is a classic case of Evolutionary Suicide:
Host Scarcity: As the "cure" spread through the Egyptian population, the available food source (human blood) became lethal to vampires.
Causing them to flee to colder climates, to escape the Egyptians. When
the vampires relocated to more remote areas of Europe, such as
Transylvania.
Starvation vs. Poisoning: Vampires faced a choice—die of starvation or die by "allergic shock" from feeding on immune Egyptians.
Final Bottleneck: With the Mediterranean’s most populous civilization becoming a biological "dead zone" for vampires, the species would have been driven to extinction in the region, leaving the Nile Valley safe for the duration of the Ptolemaic dynasty.
Cleopatra’s blood has a distinct, slightly "metallic" or "iridescent" quality under certain light—a visual cue to the ancient priestly "cure" still flowing in her veins.
THE
ILLUMINATI
Bavarian secret society founded in 1776, organized like the Freemasons. new order was Bund der Perfektibilisten, or Covenant of Perfectibility (Perfectibilists); he later changed it because it sounded too strange. On 1 May 1776, Weishaupt and four students formed the Perfectibilists, taking the Owl of Minerva as their symbol. The members were to use aliases within the society. Weishaupt became Spartacus. Law students Massenhausen, Bauhof, Merz and Sutor became respectively Ajax, Agathon, Tiberius and Erasmus Roterodamus. Weishaupt later expelled Sutor for indolence. In April 1778, the order became the Illuminatenorden, or Order of Illuminati, after Weishaupt had seriously contemplated the name Bee order.
AGE OF ENLIGHTENMENT
The Age of Enlightenment or the Enlightenment, also known as the Age of Reason, was an intellectual and philosophical movement that occurred in Europe, especially Western Europe, in the 17th and 18th centuries, with global influences and effects. The Enlightenment included a range of ideas centered on the value of human happiness, the pursuit of knowledge obtained by means of reason and the evidence of the senses, and ideals such as natural law, liberty, progress, toleration, fraternity, constitutional government, and separation of church and state.
The Enlightenment was preceded by the Scientific Revolution and the work of Francis Bacon and John Locke, among others. Some date the beginning of the Enlightenment to the publication of René Descartes' Discourse on the Method in 1637, featuring his famous dictum, Cogito, ergo sum ("I think, therefore I am").
NEW WORLD ORDER
The New World Order (NWO) is a conspiracy theory that hypothesizes a secretly emerging totalitarian world government. The common theme in conspiracy theories about a New World Order is that a secretive power elite with a globalist agenda is conspiring to eventually achieve world domination and rule the world through an authoritarian one-world government—which will replace sovereign nation-states—and an all-encompassing propaganda whose ideology hails the establishment of the New World Order as the culmination of history's progress. Many influential historical and contemporary figures have therefore been alleged to be part of a cabal that operates through many front organizations to orchestrate significant political and financial events, ranging from causing systemic crises to pushing through controversial policies, at both national and international levels, as steps in an ongoing plot to achieve world domination.
Before the early 1990s, New World Order conspiracism was limited to two American countercultures, primarily the militantly anti-government right, and secondarily the part of fundamentalist Christianity concerned with the eschatological end-time emergence of the Antichrist.
